The project has been designed to preserve the marine environment, as the water complies with the environmental assessment standards, and will discharge surface water and groundwater through marine pipelines, which will stretch approximately 10 kilometres from the coastline. The project also include a 7.1 kilometres marine outfall.

Even the highest quality materials need to be installed properly, and the training puts a high emphasis on installations being performed professionally and to the highest levels. Training, and therefore re-certification is done on a yearly basis.

The DVGW GW330 standard is required to comply with the QCS2014 construction standard.

Here are the latest images from the National Museum of Qatar site where QEMS is laying and welding geomembrane for the museums artificial lake and water features. In area of approximately 12,000 sqm, QEMS has put down two layers of 1mm HDPE geomembrane, layered on 135mm and 500mm non-woven textiles to form the base of the lake.
